Report on the held Seminar on api house

The first Seminar on api chambers, Preparation, construction and use of api house, was held on October 15^th,  2023 online.

The seminar was organized by: Professional Association ApiMed Serbia,

with support of:

 In the period from September 7 to 10, 2023, the 34th Veterinarian Council of Serbia was held in Zlatibor. For the first time, apitherapy was included in the Counseling Program as part of Thematic Sessions and Workshops.

I think that during the congress we achieved a kind of unity, which goes

beyond the strict collegial framework.

We made a snowball of questions and dilemmas, aspirations and plans.

We need to turn it into an energy avalanche and release it towards the

Universe, hoping that we will recognize the right answers, because we have

only slightly scratched the tip of universal knowledge.

We are privileged to be participants in the current both cosmic and earthly

chaos. Lucky to be a part of a civilizational catharsis…

And nothing is accidental!

We ourselves chose the time and place of the materialization of our own soul

under the auspices of the divine spirit.

Let us remember the reasons for this decision of ours. We will begin, with

common minds and ideas, efforts and decisions, to shape a new projection of

our all-round existence, based on proven, traditional foundations.

On behalf of my colleague Slavica Stefanovič and the ARIA agency team, I will

say that this is the beginning.

Send us your suggestions, questions, ideas. To begin with: the photos you took

during the congress, in order to create a gallery and to inform those who were not

participants that there were more than 150 of us, that we had the opportunity to listen

to over 30 presentations by renowned lecturers from the country and abroad , that we  renewed acquaintances and created new ones and… that, above all, we had a wonderful

time together.

World Bee Day May 20, 2023

We celebrated World Bee Day at the High School for Culinary Arts and Tourism in Belgrade. Otherwise, this school cooperates with the UNESCO Federation of Clubs, under the auspices of the Government of Serbia, in marking significant dates from the UNESCO list. The Republic of Serbia supports global priorities and program activities in the main areas under UNESCO’s jurisdiction – education, science, culture, information and communication, which are also related to topics on the UN agenda.

We prepare some lectures for students :

Prof. of culinary Dalibor Mandić, the beekeeper himself, spoke about the bee’s and its importance in pollination. This was also the theme-motto of this year’s celebration of World Bee Day.

The hall where we held the lectures was full, although attendance was not mandatory. We were delighted by the enthusiasm of the students who followed our presentations, asked questions and at the end, together with several other teachers who were also present, they expressed their desire to teach them again at the beginning of the next school year. After the official part, one group of students and teachers stayed and we answered their questions.

They promised that at the next meeting they will prepare some dishes using bee products: honey, bee pollen, bee bread-perga.

World Bee Day 20 May 2023

World Bee Day is celebrated on May 20. On this day Anton Janša, the pioneer of beekeeping, was born in 1734.

The first event taking place in 2018. In 2023, World Bee Day will celebrate its fifth anniversary.

The purpose of celebrate this day is to draw the attention of the general public to the essential role of bees as the most important pollinators in maintaining the health of people and our planet. Also to acknowledge the role of bees and other pollinators in maintaining the ecosystem. The importance of bee products in the prevention of diseases as well as during treatment and recovery, should be pointed out.

Beekeeping, ecologically and medically, as well as apiturism, can be a good source of income.

Designated by the United Nations, World Bee Day seeks to inform and educate people about honey bees and their impact on our biodiversity. For example, it is estimated that one out of every three mouthfuls of food we eat depends on honey bees and the pollination process. But honey bees are facing extinction, with a 2021 report by the Center for Biological Diversity and the Bombus Pollinators Association of Law Students finding that American honey bees had decreased by some 89%. If the entire population of bees were wiped out – disappeared, eventually all the plants and the entire vegetation that they pollinate would disappear. Food sources would dwindle sharply.

World Bee Day is a day of awareness about the harmful effects of pesticides, climate change, and habitat loss on honey bees – and what we can do to reverse this.  

Five World Bee Day facts you won’t “bee-lieve!”

Bees are the most important pollinator in the world and have been for centuries. But here are some interesting facts you may not know about these winged creatures:

1. The average honey bee will only make around 1/12th of a teaspoon of honey in its entire lifetime. 
2. A single bee visits 50 to 100 flowers on each pollination trip. 
3. Almost 75% of the crops grown in the world rely on honey bee pollination. 
4. Bees have four wings!  They move them back and forth!
5. There are over 25,000 different species of bee – and many of them can’t even sting!

Tečaj APITERAPIJA I APITURIZAM (tečaj APITERAPIJA II)

Ove godine je upis na tečaj Apiterapija i apiturizam zahvaljujući Vašemu velikom interesu počeo ranije nego prijašnjih godina.

VAŽNA OBAVIJEST: 
Obzirom na velik interes i broj prijava na tečaj apiterapija i apiturizam (održava se on line) i počinje 20.8.2022. kao i činjenicu da je ovo ujedno i zadnji tečaj ove godine broj polaznika je ograničen zbog same kvalitete nastave i komunikacije s polaznicima te se prijave za tečaj primaju do popunjavanja grupe.

Do sada ima mjesta za još ukupno  17 polaznika. Prednost prilikom prijava imaju članovi HAD-a koji su redovno uplatili članarinu do 31.03. dok se sve ostale prijave se zaprimaju prema datumu prijave do popunjenja grupe.  

Tečaj APITERAPIJA I APITURIZAM ( tečaj APITERAPIJA II)

Počinje u subotu 20.08.2022. u 12 sati on line putem Microsoft Teams-a 

Cijena tečaja je  5 500,00 kn po polazniku, plativo u nekiloko rata

1 rata u iznosu od 2 500,00 kn uplaćuje se prilikom prijave na tečaj, potvrda o plaćanju prilaže se uz prijavnicu i tek je tada prijava važeća. 

Ostale maksimalno tri rate (svaka rata je 1000,00 kn) uplacuju se u 8, 9 i 10 mjesecu a najkasnije do završetka tečaja i obrane seminarskih radova

Tečaj traje 9 subota u kontinuitetu od 12 do 18 sati.

Nakon toga slijedi 3-4 tjedna „odmora“  za izradu seminarskih radova, nakon toga obrana seminarskih radova pred tročlanim povjerenstvom. 

Jednu subotu ćemo imati nastavu uživo u Zagrebu ili okolici da se međusobno upoznamo i prokomentiramo sva Vaša pitanja, planove, želje…

U cijenu tečaja uključena su predavanja,  literatura, priručnik Pčelarstvo apiterapija apiturizam, ocjena seminarskog rada,  rad povjerenstva za obranu seminara.

Znanstveni odbor će recenzirati sve zaprimljene sažetke u potpunoj diskreciji. Autor može prijaviti više od jednog sažetka ili rada, ali znanstveni odbor zadržava pravo odluke o broju prijavljenih izlaganja po jednom autoru.

Programski odbor zadržava pravo određivanja načina izlaganja prijavljenih radova.

Dear fellow beekeepers, scientists and friends

I write to invite you to Istanbul, Turkey for the 47th Apimondia Congress.  These past two years have been challenging, first with COVID and now with unprovoked fighting in Ukraine.  The 47th Congress was planned in Ufa, Russia in 2021 and then postponed due to COVID to 2022. We have moved the location for the 47th Apimondia Congress to Istanbul, Turkey, where we know we can host a great meeting on such short notice.

So let me welcome you to join us in Istanbul, 24-28 August 2022.  The venue is the same one we used in 2017 and so some of you will know what a wonderful setting this venue provides for a successful ApiExpo and Apimondia Congress. For those of you who could not join us in 2017, now is your chance to come to a vibrant city where East meets West, with a great international airport and convenient central  location. We are busy planning an exciting program on bees, keeping and all aspects of our craft.

Please join us as we all wish to meet and talk in person after such a long COVID confinement in our respective areas of the world. We look forward to hearing the bids from Europe of our 49th Congress in 2025 and voting on that venue. For the first time the 47th Congress will be a hybrid meeting with an option to attend portions of the meeting virtually, but we hope you can attend in person.
