The ApiMed Serbia Association   is an international community of doctors, dentists, pharmacists, veterinarians, clinical biochemists, technologists, healthcare associates and other professionals who are dedicated to researching the medicinal effect and using beehive products for the prevention and treatment of human and animal diseases.

As professionals, we apply all the principles of modern diagnostics, prevention and treatment, but as experts in the effects of bee products on human and animal health, we advocate their use parallel with medical therapy.

Integrative medicine combines the methods of classical and complementary medicine. In this way, we are able to combine the best from both domains, to have a comprehensive approach to health, both in its preservation and prevention, as well as in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. This approach is defined as a holistic approach to man. The human being is seen as an inseparable entity of body, mind and spirit that is in continuous interaction with the natural and social environment in which it lives. It is this holistic approach that defines integrative medicine, its goals and principles.

That is why our treatment approach is primarily integrative and involves the use of all bee products. In practice, the synergistic effect of drug therapy and bee products has been proven, which leads to faster healing and reduction of drug therapy in chronic diseases.

Our advice is to always start with the gradual introduction of bee products by the apitherapist. If the apitherapist is not a doctor, the treatment should be carried out under the supervision of the doctor who is treating the patient. It is necessary to keep precise records on the dosage of bee products, the course of treatment, and the effects. This is how we gain personal experience that we can then share with others.

apimedsrbija.rs will organize courses for all health workers, which I mentioned at the beginning of this text, within theoretical and practical classes. The lecturers will be highly educated experts from different fields from our country but also from abroad. We plan to organize online groups for apitherapy where participants will be able to exchange their knowledge and experiences.
